How To Go About Calendar Printing

Calendars are everywhere. You can see a calendar in almost every house or office and with the emergence of calendar printing, custom calendars have become more and more available and changing.

1. Find people to aim.

Aim and remember. Have the people in your mind while you go through the process of creating the calendar because this will help you choose the colors or the type of calendar to use.

2. Choose your type of calendar.

With the target people in mind, pick a good type of calendar you think they would prefer: Desk calendars, Pen calendars, Wall calendars, Poster calendars, Planner calendars, Note card calendars, Booklet calendars, Desktop tent calendars, Fridge magnet calendars.

3. Estimate how many you are printing.

Still with the people in mind, count how many they are or at least have a rough estimate on how many you need to print. You do not necessarily have to get the exact number just a close estimate. From that estimate add a few more just in case something happens to the other calendars.

4. Double Check everything.

If you intend to include quotes or some text to the calendar, make sure you double check misspelled words or grammar errors before you push through the printing. Check your months and dates as well if they are updated or on the right year.

5. Find appropriate pictures.

Should you decide to use tent calendars or the wall calendars, you might need to include pictures per month. So consider having 12 pictures plus an additional for the front cover if you want. Your pictures must be good and in good light. Most of the calendars people use has nice pictures, so if you want people to use your calendars make sure your photos look very good. If your business is into service then make sure that is incorporated in your pictures, same goes with products. Have a professional photographer take the photos for you, they will be able to make your products or services inviting and enticing.

6. Papers and boards.

If booklets are in your mind, you need boards for the cover and papers for pages inside; if you want a wall calendar on the other hand you have to choose just one. Ask your printer what would work well with your preferred calendar this is very important specially if you need the calendar to stand on its own or you need to have the calendar placed inside a pen.

7. Know what paper stock is.

Paper stock is the gloss or matte you place to cover your boards or paper in the form of thin sheets of plastics. Consider having it placed to give additional protection to the calendars, it also makes it look more professional and done well.

8. Add-ons.

There are a lot of different ways to customize your calendars for the people you intend to give it to. A good one is to have the before and after month below or at the side of the current month. You can also have your company name or quotations to include in every month and perhaps even add the phases of the moon if you think your recipients would have a need for it. You can also include special holidays which will work well with planners.

Use calendar printing to customize great looking calendars that work well with your budget and effort.
